What is Massage Therapy?
Massage Therapy is a manual manipulation of the soft tissues of the body for the purpose of establishing and maintain good health and promoting wellness. There are many varieties of modalities which the therapist uses to accomplish his/her client therapeutic goals.

Before your appointment
Wearing a mask during your appointment is optional.
There will be an intake form
10 to 15 minute consultation before your appointment.
The therapist will get to know the client by going over the medical history and what leads them to get a massage. (Stress, work, injury etc…)
During your appointment
The massage therapist will do assessments.
When the massage therapist exit the room, the client will dress down to their comfortable level.
The therapist will communicate with the client about the massage pressure throughout the session.
The massage therapist will find tender or soft trigger points. The therapist will ask the client is any local, referral, or satellite pain.
After your appointment
The massage therapist will let the client know the session has ended. When the massage therapist exit the room, the client will redress.
The massage therapist will do a consultation after the session to tell the client what he/she has found during the session.
The massage therapist will have a recommendation plan for the client.
The massage therapist will determine if client needs a longer session for their next appointment or how many appointment sessions the client will need.
